" Hype Revision "

Advertisement are everywhere, you can find them all over, just by walking from the bathroom to your living room. Advertisers have kept us updated with the modern world, very so often, all the time! From fashion, education, health, even finances and more, advertisers are always catching our attention with celebrities like Kim Kardashen in a commercial, a college student receiving he's bachelors, a child's life saved thanks to modern medical technology. But would you believe that marketing, advertisement are consider to be toxic to the mental pollution?

According to author Kalle Lasn, in her article "Hype" she mentions that everyday there is an estimate of "12 billion display ads, 3 million radio commercials, and more than 200,000 TV commercials are dumped into North America's collective unconscious." meaning there is a lot of stuff going on around you and you don't even notice. For instance when you go on to the subway or bus, commute, you will find posters and flyers about plenty of random stuff,  from being essential to luxuries. You just got paid and you have some extra for yourself. Your starting to get sick and you know that you should see a doctor pretty soon, but with so much going on at work, school and home you forget to make an appointment, your so tired that you don't even notice that your immune system is starting to go slow. So you hop on to the train after work and you see a poster about a new bar opening in the city and
they are having a grand opening, you have a desire to go. You make plans, until you see another poster about a doctor near you with a reasonably price. In case you haven't noticed, this ad has just remind you of your health. Now your sad because you cant go out and get that nice long island ice tea. You have just brainstorm about luxuries instead of remembering what is important. Thanks to these advertisement you found a doctor and save money, also you have a plan for another day to have fun.

My preservative about advertisement, they are pretty helpful and simple, let me explain.Last summer 2013 i was interested in coming back to school, but i was working two jobs and was exhausted very quickly. i was so busy and concentrated on my work that i didn't know how to start about going back to school and i was always forgetting to make an appointment.
